DAY IN OJAI 5 15 10
Spent a late day in Ojai swimmin then hit up the hot springs but got kicked out by cops after about an hours soak. Spots are all off the side of the 33 right by the bridge to S Matillija Rd. No pix of the hot springs.

Looks like some good swimmin holes.I like the third picture from the bottom. I was at Vickers one time and got kicked out by the cops too. I didnt know that it was off limits.The cop was behind me on hwy 33 all the way up to the springs. I kept waiting for him to pull me over. Then when I parked at the turnout for the springs he pulls up behind me and says “might as well turn around” I hate private property.
yeah, from our knowledge it is not on private property, but the police enforce it like it is. legally no one can own property within ten feet of the high water mark of a creek or river, but try telling that to the cops and you will end up explaining it to the judge a month down the road. its best to just get up and leave. we have been to this place at least ten times and this is the first occasion we have ever seen the cops. i guess we have just been lucky in the past.
